From a humble beginning in the restaurant business, Lady Whilemina Bestman traveled across the Atlantic Ocean from Liberia, West Africa, to the United States of America. With the homegrown experience she gained from her parents’ home in food culture — and from running a popular restaurant before leaving Liberia — she chose to focus on food internationally.
